This is a gift I give myself on a regular basis: a healing session with Daylight Kumpa. First, she listens to me. I relax in her open, loving presence and through her deep listening. Her skill and knowledge in the power and process of healing allow me to trust that I will receive what I need here. Then I lie down on the energy mat, the music comes on and I start to breathe in the deep, connected way that guides me past thought and into a space of inner attunement. As Daylight presses into specific points on my feet to stimulate a release wherever energy is blocked, I can feel the lifeforce move along the different pathways in my body. Sometimes, the pleasurable movement of this "chi" is subtle and other times, it is exhilarating. The Body Code sessions helped clarify some underlying emotions which influence the way I experience chronic pain. We also worked on releasing the effects of worry and stress on the physical body. In addition to sessions I really liked the EFT and meditation recommendations and continue to use those.
